Changing Focus – Knitpack
Thanks to funding from the National National Lottery Community fund Inclusive Images were able to facilitate our ‘Changing Focus’ online projects with DACA, Knitpack, and Neighbourhood Networks. The projects focused on how the groups were coping with the Covid restrictions.
Quotes from members:
Maureen ‘Definitely felt in a better frame of mind because of the tasks and group zoom sessions’
Mags ‘Really enjoyed learning how to connect on zoom & connecting with lovely talented folk every week.. The project has inspired me & really helped to give me some focus during lockdown & more of a purpose to my daily health walks. Learning new photography techniques has been fab, I have a new sense of appreciation of nature and the world around me, especially whilst being in isolation & shielding .. I’ve learned to appreciate life’s simpler things even more ..having so much joy over finding little creatures like snails on my health walks..& capturing them in photography has been amazing. Loved the journey thanks for the opportunity Charlie ..look forward to continuing the photography journey & taking part in future projects’.

I have really enjoyed the sessions. Having the weekly zoom session to look forward to, gave structure to my weeks, as all the days were starting to look the same. Learning how to set up/ join zoom meetings was a bonus. The best part of this journey was meeting old and new friends, and the coming together of 2 craft groups. Thanks everyone for the support, inspiration and laughter. Here’s to us all meeting up in person.
